Bike Ride

I went out for a bike ride last night. The second of the season. It felt sooo good to be on the bike in the fresh air. But boy oh boy am I out of shape!! I did about 10 to 15 miles or so.... And I was whipped when I got home! The wind was fairly strong (though not nearly so strong as today) making it difficult to pedal. But, I figure it'll whip me into shape a little faster than if I didn't have the wind to battle.... Hopefully I'll get out more and more and take off the extra pounds I've managed to accumulate through the winter.

Gymnastics

When I was a little girl I desperately wanted gymnastics lessons! I used to make up routines to Elvis and tumble back and forth across the living room floor. I never did get lessons but Jessi started a couple of weeks ago. Can you believe that they have adult classes at the gym? I'm afraid my body doesn't do this any more though. It even looks painful!! But Jessi sure looks like she's having fun - and her cousin too!!

The Heavens Declare

Owl Prowl

I went on an 'Owl Prowl' with my mom early this morning down at Braddock's Bay Raptor Research. Unfortunately it's just too cold for the owls so we didn't see a single one!! They said they will come with the first warm southerly wind... but it doesn't look like that will be coming any time soon!! We ended up, as usual, down by Seabreeze to take pix of the birds there. Admittedly it's getting a bit old... So we didn't stay long!

After that we roamed Rochester in search of places for engagement shoots. There really is a lot of cool architecture including pillars and archways and what-not that will make for some great shots! I didn't take too many shots though - mostly notes of great places for shoots!

But here are a couple more random shots of Rochester.... I found it interesting that I got such completely different skies on the same day! But that's Rochester for you!

Well.... I've done it. I started a blog for Teena!! The reason - we are attempting to raise money for her surgeries. It feels a little awkward trying something like this... but these surgeries and doctors appointments are adding up fast!! God has been soooo good and we have raised about 1/5 of the money to date selling cookies and fudge as well as family donations.

She's Home!

Teena's home. She's having a rough go of it though. The girls slept downstairs with her last night and Jessi says she kept her up all night. And any time Jessi leaves the room she cries. She goes back for her next surgery on Monday.

Teena's out of surgery and recovering nicely. They were not, however, able to do the leg cuz her temp dropped during surgery. Not sure when that will take place.... We sure appreciate everyone's prayers!!

Wide Awake

The dog woke me up to go out and now I'm having a tough time getting back to sleep.... Maybe I should go over to Martha's - everyone sleeps at Martha's house!!
