A parent is to pray hard and teach the child respect before he/she gets to the point where the child would dare take them to court. Notice the parents have had an ongoing custody battle. She learned somewhere that when things don't go "my" way, I take them to court.

That is so sad. Very sad that the girl would behave that way and very sad that the court would have such poor judgment.
