The Kindess of God

20So Joseph's master took him and put him into the jail, the place where the king's prisoners were confined; and he was there in the jail. 21But the LORD was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the chief jailer. 22The chief jailer committed to Joseph's charge all the prisoners who were in the jail; so that whatever was done there, he was responsible for it. - Genesis 39:20-22

How many of you would have seen the LORD's kindness in that situation? I think I might have been griping about the situation I was in rather than seeing God's goodness and kindness!

Lord, Help me to see things as you see them and to recognize your kindness even in the tough situations!

Amen! Sad that it often takes us a lifetime to learn those simple lessons from the Lord. No matter our situation we can count on Him to extend His kindeness to us.

Yes, so often it is much easier to grumble and complain and not see what God has for us in every situation. I love the story about Joseph!
