Thanksgiving is over... and now it's time to think about Christmas.

Brian's talking about getting his own apartment soon.

Oh, isn't that sad and exciting at the same time? I have a hard time at Christmas thinking about it being our "last" Christmas together with things the way they have been for all these years. Where will Brian get an apartment? How old is he?
The holidays are special when the kids return home. Don't think of it as the end, but instead as a new beginning.

Heather - Brian is 18 and talking about getting an apartment just a town over so it's not like he won't be close by. But his ambition is to go to film school once he has his GED. And that is in LA. So....
Okay, the apartment one town over - good. Going to LA, yikes! So far away!
I wonder that, too, sometimes, where the time went. It is all going too fast. Life is but a vapor...
